34th ANNUAL KOONWARRA RAM SALE
WEDNESDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER 2011 at 1PM

Preview Day – Wednesday 14th September from 12 noon to 5pm at Little Range
60 May/June 2010 drop Rams
This will be Koonwarra Merino Stud’s sixth sale at the new location, Little Range, 16kms from Boorowa (NSW) on the Cunningar Road towards Harden.
Only 2010 drop rams will be offered for auction commencing at 1pm undercover.
These rams were shorn on 12th April 2011, and their fleece tests will be taken about 6 weeks before the sale. Each ram will have individual fleece figures for micron, S.D., C.V., Spinning Fineness, Bodyweight, and Greasy Fleece Weight percentage. These rams were Gudair vaccinated as lambs out of approved vaccinated ewes. These rams will be selected by Stuart Hodgson, the Stud Classer, and Charlie & Jono Merriman, the Stud Managers. Koonwarra clients can come to Koonwarra, and know that there will be a continuity of the Koonwarra type and direction that Stuart Hodgson has been developing over the years.
We will be holding an open Preview Aftermoon of the sale rams on Wednesday, 14th September at Little Range from 12noon to 5pm.
We welcome all clients, and non clients who may like to come along that afternoon and see what we are doing at Koonwarra and inspect these rams at their leisure.
Alternatively, prior to the on-property sale a private inspection of the sale rams can be arranged by appointment with Charlie, Jono or Stuart.
The Koonwarra Ram Sale catalogue will be available on this website in early September.
Individual body weights will be available on the day of the sale.
These are the current fleece figures for the 60 rams to be auctioned on 28th September, these rams are all May/June 2010 drop & they are paddock raised, not shedded.
(M) stands for the 4 March shorn rams not April shorn like the rest.
Bodyweights will be done the week before the Ram Sale and displayed individually on sale day.
